If you are searching for Maine Coon kittens in Missouri, Dashing Coons is based right here in Ballwin — on the western edge of St. Louis County. This is not a long-distance placement. You can drive here, meet the kittens in person, see where they are raised, and take your time before committing to anything. Missouri families are our home community.
We are a small, home-based cattery. Maximum three queens, all raised inside the house with daily handling from birth. No facility, no kennel, no staff. Every kitten is handled by Samuel personally from day one through go-home day.

Communities We Serve
Ballwin
This is home. Our cattery is in Ballwin, and local pickup here is the simplest option for any St. Louis family. You drive to us, meet the kitten in person, and take them home the same day. No shipping, no intermediaries. If you are in Ballwin or the immediate area, you are as close to us as any buyer gets.
Chesterfield
Chesterfield families are our nearest neighbors — ten to fifteen minutes depending on where you are in the valley. We have had several Chesterfield families come through, and the pickup is genuinely easy. If you want to visit before committing, Chesterfield is close enough for a casual look-and-meet without making a day of it.
Kirkwood
Kirkwood is about twenty to twenty-five minutes east on I-44. It is a quick, straightforward drive with no complicated routing. Kirkwood families tend to be well-researched buyers — the community has a strong culture of knowing what they want before they buy. We welcome that. Come see the parents, ask every question, and take your time.
St. Charles
St. Charles is twenty-five to thirty minutes from Ballwin, crossing the Missouri River via I-64 or I-70. We have placed kittens with St. Charles families and the drive is easy in either direction. If you prefer, we can also arrange personal hand-delivery to St. Charles — text us to discuss what works best for your schedule.
Verify Us Before You Drive Out
We encourage every family to verify us before making the drive. Here is exactly how:
- TICA lookup: Go to tica.org and search for Dashing Coons. Our registration is public and verifiable right now — before any conversation.
- Live video call: Text us to schedule a video call. See the kittens in real time, meet the parents, and ask every question before you commit to anything.
- In-person visit by appointment: Visits are by appointment only — text 618-973-6926 first. No walk-ins. See where the kittens are raised and ask questions during your scheduled visit.
- Real named Facebook reviews: Bryan C., Kaylin G., Mary P., and Stine K. left public recommendations on our Facebook page. Named, real, verifiable. Read them here.
