Our kittens are raised in our home, handled daily, vet-checked, vaccinated, and sent home with TICA registration paperwork, health records, pedigree information, and guidance for a smooth transition. Every breeding cat is DNA-screened through UC Davis VGL / Optimal Selection — panels are being refreshed as part of our 2026 start-fresh health program, and dated reports are shared with serious buyers on request. Local families are always welcome to visit and pick up in person — and for families outside the area, we are happy to discuss personal hand-delivery by arrangement.

Our Specialty
◆The European Smoke Maine Coon
European-line Maine Coons are known for their tall ear furnishings, square muzzles, and thick coats. Individual size, coat, and features vary from cat to cat.
Smoke Maine Coons are born nearly solid black and slowly reveal a silver undercoat over the first 6–12 months. I focus on European lines because they tend to produce larger cats with more dramatic structure — bigger bone, wider muzzle, more pronounced ear furnishings — compared to the American show standard.

Meet Samuel
I am Samuel Haws, and I run Dashing Coons out of my home in Ballwin, Missouri. There is no staff, no facility, no kennel — just me, my cats, and the kittens I raise in my living space.
I got into European smoke Maine Coons because I wanted a cat with real presence — the silver undercoat, the size, the structure you do not see in most American-bred lines. I have built this program around health testing, honest pairings, and raising kittens the way I would want my own cat raised.
I answer every message personally. If you text or email me, you are talking to me — not an assistant, not a form response. And that does not stop after go-home day.
