Where We Are — and Why Illinois Families Come to Us

Our cattery is in Ballwin, Missouri, on the western edge of the St. Louis metro. For families in the Metro East — Belleville, O'Fallon, Edwardsville, Collinsville — we're a short drive across the river. For families further north or east, I (Sam) bring your kitten to you personally, complimentary, by car or in-cabin flight. No cargo, no couriers, no flight nannies. Dashing Coons is based in Ballwin, Missouri, serving the St. Louis metro. Our sires and family support base are in southern Illinois — but the cattery, the queens, and the kittens are in Ballwin.

What Illinois Families Are Looking For

Illinois buyers tend to be well-researched. They know the difference between European and American bloodlines, and they want the dramatic structure — tall ear tufts, square muzzles, massive bone — that authentic European Maine Coons are known for. Our black smoke and polydactyl kittens draw particular interest from Chicago-area families who've done their homework.
