Dashing Coons is a home-based cattery, not a storefront. The first step is always a text to 618-973-6926. A quick text lets us confirm availability, answer your initial questions, and figure out whether the current litter is a good fit for your household.

Video Call Before Any Money Moves

Before placing a deposit, I do a live video walkthrough so you can see the kitten, ask questions in real time, and feel confident about the match. This is standard for all buyers — local and out-of-state alike. It is not a formality; it is how I make sure you are choosing the right kitten and that I am placing the right kitten with the right family.

What to Ask on the Call

Come with your questions. Common ones: what the kitten's personality is like so far, vaccination schedule, go-home timing, what food the kitten is eating, and what the deposit and contract process looks like. I am happy to walk through all of it.

Deposit and Contract

After the video call, if you want to move forward, a $1,000 deposit through QuickBooks holds one specific kitten. It applies toward the final purchase price and is documented in the contract. I send the invoice after the call — no money moves before you have seen the kitten.

Breeding-rights placements are paused. Every current placement is a pet/companion contract.

Local Pickup in Ballwin

St. Louis metro families are welcome to pick up in person at our home in Ballwin. You come to us, spend time with your kitten, and take them home the same day. We go over health documentation, vaccination records, and care instructions together before you leave.

Dashing Coons is located in Ballwin, Missouri — about 10 minutes from Chesterfield, 15 from Clayton, and 20–25 from St. Charles depending on traffic.

Nationwide Personal Delivery

For families outside the St. Louis metro, I personally deliver nationwide at no charge — by car or in-cabin flight, never cargo. Your kitten travels with me. There is no delivery fee, fuel surcharge, or extra transport deposit.

Preparing for Pickup or Delivery Day

Have the kitten's space ready before they arrive — a quiet room with food, water, a litter box, and a comfortable hiding spot. Limit the number of people present at the handoff, especially if you have young children or other pets. The first hour in a new home sets the tone for the settling-in period.

Have your veterinary appointment scheduled within the first week.
